KMFA Classical 89.5 welcomes the saxophone quartet Zed to the Draylen Mason Music Studio for a special noontime concert on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS


Zed Quartet

Founded in the fall of 2023, Zed is a saxophone quartet based in Austin, Texas composed of current students and alumni of The University of Texas at Austin, Butler School of Music. In March 2024, they were finalists at the Coltman Chamber Music Competition. They have been invited to the live rounds of the North American Saxophone Alliance Competition and the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. Zed is committed to educational outreach and community engagement, and they regularly perform and put on masterclasses in the Austin area.
